good thing #1:
i had a job interview today! there were a lot of applicants but i'm just so happy i was one of the few chosen to get an interview. i would love to get this job - it's an incredible shoe store! if i don't, i'm still thrilled that i was able to get an interview. it gives me hope and faith in the world.
good thing #2:
my copy of the dresden dolls companion came in the mail today. i had almost forgotten about it. it's a huge treat to read about amanda palmer's song writing process. in addition. it contains incredible art by the dolls and their amazing fans as well as sheet music for piano, guitar and vocals. woo hoo! this kinda stuff helps me to stay in practice for sight reading music. tough stuff but great knowledge to have.
good thing #3:
my gunne sax dress from calico vintage got here and oh my word is it ever dreamy! i adore the corset front as it allows for my ample bosom and, dare i say, it puts my wenches on display, tee hee! pictures coming soon.
good thing #4:
allison, the wonderful madame fortuna, sent me the sweetest gift. it's a book from the 60s on how to alter clothing! she couldn't have timed it better. not only was it an incredibly thoughtful gift, but it was so timely as well. this week i am throwing myself into my sewing and i will have new stuff ready to post on etsy. it's amazing to know how supported i a
m. i almost cried when i read the sweet message she wrote inside.
good thing #5:
i got to hang out with my best friend cory for the first time in weeks! the snow made our regular "suesday" time impossible and after that work schedules conflicted. it was so nice to see him and just be with a good friend. we have so much catching up to do - christmas, new years, his new heart interest, etc., but we were really just so happy to finally be in the same room, we just grinned like stupid kids for most of the time. sometimes just being around such a dear dear friend and feeling loving and loved is the best thing ever. yay!
it was a very good day.

Best of luck to you on the job my dear, I hope you get it. I will keep you in my prayers.
Oh honey, now more than ever it is important to list the blessings in one's life. And you have done just that. Good on you...
Your gunne sax sounds dreamy. Allison is such a wonderful friend! You've got many things for which to be grateful.
Add me to your fans list. But I'm more than a fan, S. I'm a friend. May not be able to send you cool stuff in the mail, but dammit I'll stand by you.
All my love,
D-
Susie!!!
I took a lil' vacation from the blogosphere, and look what awaits me now that I'm back... I think you had one of the most dramatic weeks ever! Holy macaroni! I don't know where to start... well, yes I do, I am glad as hell that your medication mix-up got straightened out. Good GOD! That pharmacy must be one of the rungs of hell that somehow pokes up above-ground. Okay, next, you are ROCKING it on Etsy, and what I have to say to that is YOU GO GIRL!!! (; Great great new items, I am seriously impressed. Lastly, thanks for the fabulous and tempting movie reccomendations. I am gonna find em on Netflix STAT!
Hope your Wednesday is shaping up marvelously.

thank you all so so much! you have no idea how much this kind of support helps me.
one of the toughest things about having borderline personality disorder is keeping life in perspective. blogging is one of my forms of therapy. it assists me in maintaining a balance. bpd makes small failures or setbacks seem like disasters to the sufferer. life is very black and white - i'm either invincible or an absolute waste of humanity when i try to keep it all in my head. my temptation is to withdraw and hide. this little daily release forces me to deal with things, and quite often enables me to find feasible solutions.
thank you all again! i have no way to express my depth of gratitude.
