today was truly a green day. that must have some bearing on my heart chakra and i'm taking it as a good sign. i got more compliments on my outfit today than anything i've worn since i went to work in that gorgeous robe i got from violet folklore. it's a lot of stuff from anthropologie and in a way it made me kinda sad. see, a year ago i could literally walk in there and buy whatever i wanted. those days are long gone.
maybe this is a good thing - i truly appreciate what i have so much more now. each dress is a little treasure and i love my wardrobe so much more than i did last year. i also have a lot more freedom to express myself through clothing and more time to personalize what i've got. counting those blessings again, darlene!

oh, the date went very well. it was quick, as we both had to be up early, but the conversation flowed. i'm not gonna go into too much detail as some things are better left off the blog (no, there are no juicy details, just respect for privacy), but i would like to see him again.

And re: flake. No, you're not a flake. Not in the least. You're more in control than I feel I can ever be. I know though if we were closer we'd be hopefully close to one another's shoulders...b/c these days are tough, yah?
