oh god, it is SO nice to be able to buy food again! dinner tonight was salad with feta, fresh strawberries, avocado and champagne dressing with panna gelato and strawberries for dessert. oh roughage, how i've missed you!i have been swamped trekking back and forth to port orchard, going through security checks for my new job (it's on the concourse at seatac airport) and prepping for the yard sale which has now been postponed to may 16th. i have been checking with legal counsel for my UE appeal and visiting DSHS, the saddest place on earth, for my food stamps and "welfare". it's been so crazy, i even forgot that i was supposed to go to portland last weekend for my friend shawn's first show with his new band!

i have also thrown my hat into the ring to be an official geek - cory got us passes to steamcon, seattle's steampunk convention in october! i've started alterations to steam out two vintage dresses and i'm attempting to create a new doily shrug with keys and gears. i know, i know.tomorrow i have to go to a security class at the airport and then i'll "start" my new job. i'm just doing a bit of training until i get my badge but i'm oh-so-excited to work again! now i just have to figure out how to express my fashion addiction while staying within the "black bottoms" dress code. maybe it'll come to me while i sleep.
i'll do a real post with outfit very very soon - maybe even tomorrow!
