your ailing heart and your criminal eyes

ah yes, the glamorous life. hair dyeing day crept up on me so i camped out in my room with the cats while the boxed crap did it's magic. i love it when the cats perch on the pillow like that. linus and lucy are such a matched set. aren't i scary without makeup? and the sweats - betcha thought you'd never see that!

check it out - frank used a picture of me for the flier for his band's cd release party! that makes me happy.he and i went out for dinner tonight but sadly, the restaurant we went to turned into the rooting section for the huskies football game. we were miserable and actually started being kinda mean to each other. sorry frank! it was those stupid football fans cheering and clapping. they can't hear you!
we bailed and headed to an eastlake coffee shop where an amazingly fun little band called slim pickens was playing fun old timey music.i didn't take any pictures of them tonight but i found this one on flickr. not only were they really good but annie, the fiddle player, came over to me and said, "have you ever seen the movie pandora's box?"a total shit-eating grin spread across my face - she thought i looked like louise brooks! i think i love her. my night was golden from that point on and frank and i had a lovely time away from the football fans. what a difference it made to get out of that restaurant.see how happy i am? frank took this picture but he thought my smile looked forced. it wasn't!
to make things even better, the coffee shop gave me a giant cinnamon roll since they were about to close. i have breakfast tomorrow! of course i had to take a picture. sheer loveliness!yays!

Even when you're in your little messies and dying your hair, you look like a doll.
Yay! I'm glad you got the card. What are you doing for Halloween? Does your anorexic checking account foresee bows and whiskey in the not-so-distant future?

Muwah!

xoxo
