i feel kinda teeny-bopperish when i discuss my love for miss palmer. it is kinda juvenile to adore a rock star! but when i reveal my adoration for her unique individual style, i see that this is a grown up mature form of love.
amanda dresses in completely her own style. she has no qualms about wearing the same dress over and over, leaving the house with wet hair and no make-up, forgetting to put on her pants, etc. it is so refreshing to see someone in the public eye who is so real (well, except for the pants thing).

recently, amanda got into a big quarrel with her record label, roadrunner, over her belly. they wanted to prevent her "leeds united" video from being released as it was their opinion that her stomach is not up to par with the britneys of the world. who cares? she is a slender girl who looks great even without abs of steel! judge for yourself. btw - you'll die over some of the outfits in this video!

she may not look like she stepped off the pages of vogue but she is such a thrilling girl. she is a wonderful musician and songwriter, a swell artist and a true fashion maverick. cheers to you, girl anachronism!

That dress in the last photo, WOW....
And who needs a Britney and Christina, and whoever the hell else? HAve you noticed too that Jessica Simpson and Bernie Dexter look alike? LOL, total non-sequitir, but tertiary link with Britney and so forth.
This Amanda lady seems like someone right up my alley.
i'm so proud of her for standing up for herself! all the details are right here:

and it's so true that the new generation of female "musicians" are physically indistinguishable. isn't that sad?
check amanda out. she's a true gem. plus, the name of her album was inspired by twin peaks!
That's why I love her-- she is totally for real. Soooooo excited for the show!!!! (:
