my house is so cold! it's slumbering away under it's little snowy blanket, heater coughing and sputtering tiny blasts of warmth every few minutes. brrrrrrr!
bundling up is pretty fun. it's so cold here and i had lots of errands to run so i dragged out 10lbs. of clothing to protect me from the elements. thank goodness i did!
dkny sweater dress: tj maxx
plaid skirt: goodwill (i heart it but i'm thinking of adding it to my etsy store)
green frye engineer boots: zappos.com
nattily nouveau necklace: mmefortuna.etsy.com
french "ben" beret: some cute little boutique on hawthorne in portland
lucy was the camera hog today. too bad she gnawed all the hair off her front legs! no wonder she's so cold and sleeps under my down comforter.
the streets in west seattle are sheets of ice. the snow has gotten packed down from passing cars and condensed into an ice rink. i was driving so slow until i got to the main streets which had been sanded. i know i was pissing off all the jerks in their SUVs but my little caliber is my baby and she's not even a year old yet. i'm not risking losing her. slow and steady, baby!

you are SO adorable-- I LOVE this outfit! I can't say I am anywhere near so cute today-- the burly "camping" gear has been pulled out at this point! Our house is just BURIED in snow... we're not used to it! You are the consummate fashion plate, whatever the weather.
Violet's right. You are a consummate fashion plate. Gorgeous, S...sublime. Today is farkin' 70 degrees out. I cannot wait to get out of this piece-of-crap town. Gimme' snow and winter in December please. LOL.
You mentioned that Lucy gnawed her fur off on her legs...why?? Is she okay?
Fark all the SUV mother-truckers. What a bunch of boneheads.
I love thee!
thanks so much, girls! you are too sweet! this outfit reminded me of something but i never was able to put my finger on what. it was an eerie outfit deja vu type thing. it'll come to me...
darlene - my sister (who owned linus and lucy for the past 12 years) told me lucy gnaws her fur off every fall. she says it'll grow back in by january or so but it still makes me sad. i've been giving her some extra love lately - don't tell linus! extra love for you, too!
