the morning after

**special thanks to my darling dearest best friend cory for taking these fun photos of my outfit last night. he's so much better than the self-timer. he makes me giggle!**

i am hurting so bad today but last night was amazing! the show was so incredible. amanda is a total doll. the entire thing had a very intimate feeling, like it was just a big group of friends hanging out, but amanda really put a theatrical aspect to her music. there were even choreographed dance numbers and a live horn section at certain points! i really do feel like a teenybopper gushing over amanda like i do!

we got a table for the show but the cold temperature outside and a full days work took their toll on my ankle. i'm bedridden today and the damn thing is swollen and arthritic. thank god i took the day off work! i have some packages to mail out but they're gonna have to wait until tomorrow. pain! for all my friends who yell at me for my refusal to use my canes, i'll have you know i was a good girl and used one all night. it was my "mary poppins" one, the one with the brass parrot head handle.

oh - cory and i swiped this sign after the show. it says, "happy deathday amanda" and has skulls and crossbones. we've got shared custody of it. i also splurged and got us each a pack of buttons. actually, i bought a set for me and cory tried to steal the ampersand. i sent him back to the merch table with $10 to get his own damned set. i'm going to put mine on a lovely scarf or something. i just want to keep them together - like a little button family!
