lucy and i considered running away today but i really think it was just an excuse to sit on suitcases. besides, we'd probably miss linus before too long.

i so know you want to steal the idea but please don't. if you did, you'd burn in hell and that would make me sad. but seriously, isn't this gonna be the funnest costume ever?

i already have most of the stuff. now i just need to do some small tweaking like attaching the parrot head to the umbrella, gluing cherries and daisies on the hat and adding the piping to my coat. this is gonna be so great! now if only i had something to do on halloween... maybe i'll just hang out with my nephew although going out and getting boozy would be muchly funner.looking up the pictures renewed my lifelong love of julie andrews, btw. here she is in THE BEST adaptation of the eloise books EVER created. she was Nanny to a T!
and she pretty much kicked ass in "victor/victoria". look at that tux!
i think it's the wannabe flapper in me that made me love her so terribly in "thoroughly modern millie" because in all honesty, it kinda blew.

i think looking at all those pictures of her last night seeped into my subconscious because today's outfit is slightly maria-esque, no?fishnets! see 'em peeking out? i didn't even notice that detail until now!

her singing may tame the wild children but mine soothes the savage beast.no lucy, i don't take requests. (that black blob by my knee is a cat. sadly my dress works as camouflage for her!)
