everyday is like sunday

or at least today is like sunday. a morrissey sunday. except it's not silent or gray. and it really is sunday instead of just being like sunday. so i guess it's really not like sunday at all. except that it is. just not like a morrissey sunday. crap.

it's beautiful outside and josh and i were supposed to hang out all day. sadly something came up and he had to bail early afternoon so we're rain-checking our sunday fun day plans. we did rock out in my car to ELO's "mister blue sky" while driving through downtown seattle on my way to drop him off so that was a hilarious end to our abbreviated plans. no film fest for me today.
so then what to do for the rest of the day? i considered getting some stuff ready for etsy postings (like this gorgeous shawl sleeve coat) but i'm just not in a modeling mood. go figure. but i do have some birthday presents to make so i'm digging out my needles for an embroidery session. yay!
granted they won't be as odd or gorgeous as this but i do promise to take pictures of the results and share them with you all. i just know you're dying to see what i do (that was sarcasm).

i'm really seeing a strange circus theme as inspiration for today's designs...
hmmmmmmmmm.... sideshow embroidery..... that has some serious potential.
