my mailman was snickering as he handed me the mail today. i was on the porch smoking (i know, that's like so high school) and drinking my americano (which i didn't spill! yay!) when he got to our house.
"you get the most interesting packages." he said. do you think he was coming on to me?
i started thumbing through the mail when i came across an unexpected envelope from the amazing miss automne, aka get fancy. this fabulousness was inside:
she made me this incredible mix cd and i am in love with it! i picked cory up from work today and we listened to it while we sat in traffic. this girl knows music - she has her own radio show which you simply must check out. it is wunderbar!
and can you believe she made me a blythe card to go with it? thank you, automne! i seriously can't stop smiling! it worked perfectly.
so this week, suesday consisted of beer, skip-bo, beer, "later" tots and a whole lotta hulu. it was petite blythe's first outing and she was getting frisky with the benihana buddha mug. she's kinda trampy but i still like her.
christine brought over the "easter miracles" and they squeaked the whole time we watched dr. horrible. they were cute! it was sweet, even though cory's dog, lulu, wanted to eat them. when we denied her the baby mice, she snacked out of the litter box. i really think the kitty roca was more substantial - the baby mice are about the size of gummi bears!
cory had to catch up on the office so we could start quoting it again. i was more than happy to re-watch the last two episodes with him. i love that show. why doesn't it ever get old? it's the great mystery.
sorry no pics today - it was one of those grubby no makeup dirty jeans days that the unemployed are entitled to. it's true - i read it in the constitution. prettiness is for tomorrow. until then... *linus says it's bedtime now. must obey.
