no one can say i don't stay busy!

today was definitely an homage to hitchcock. i started with the yellow dress emblazoned with
the birds logo. just a tad bit of fine tuning to finish it. i adore this dress but it is too small for me. i bought it from
thrush and was crushed when my fat arms wouldn't slip into the sleeves. hopefully someone will find it to their liking. i'll be selling it at a loss. c'est la vie.
it has such an adorable peter pan collar and the sweetest ruffle on the bottom.

the alfred hitchcock silhouette has always been a personal favorite of mine. i stitched it onto the back of a sweet ruffled front dress from target in pink...

and onto a great levis western shirt with cherry snaps in green. i used the floss that changes tone throughout on both pieces and kinda like the effect.

whilst working on these babies, i crock potted (is that a verb? it is now!) an incredible dinner of cocoa mole chicken with yams over brown rice. and it wasn't instant rice - this was the real deal. i also tried to get rid of the squirrels that have taken up residence on my roof and in our vents with chili powder. i feel like a sadistic martha stewart and i kinda like that feeling. ok, time to rest. more adventures tomorrow when i start posting my wares on etsy.
