congestion

i can't say "linus" today. everytime he walks across my face, i yell, "libus, get off of be!" yup, i've got a cold. my ears are all plugged up and i used up almost every bit of kleenex in the house. i have had to dig into the mini packets i buy to put in the car. ergh. stuffy stuffy snotty yuck.

i've been laying in bed playing Mystery Case Files and watching old episodes of Bones. my friend aly tried to get me into it when it first started because she knew i loved david boreanaz. i am a Buffy/Angel addict! i rarely watch tv so thank goodness i can watch most stuff over the internet. i'm getting pretty into this show. it's actually really good, even if there are no vengeance demons or witches. i heartily recommend it if you're looking for something to watch.

my project for the day was to get my photos organized on my new computer. that didn't happen but i came across a few i'd love to share. theses are my boys.

xander is my first nephew. he's five now and in kindergarten. this was the day i took him to the space needle. when we got to the top he said, "ok. i'm done now." he likes monsters and tap shoes and spending time with auntie susie. he took good care of me when i got out of the hospital. he tried to make me magic potions so i could spin with him again. he's so special to me.

this is ty. he's xander's cousin. i used to nanny for him but my sister quit her job to be a full time mommy. ty is almost seven months old. he likes chewing on socks and playing Row Row Row Your Boat with auntie susie. lucy adores him but linus hates him. linus knows it's because of ty that he and lucy had to come live with me. i think they got the better deal.

this is cory. he's 31 (i think) and we're not related. we used to date but now he's my best friend. this picture was taken at Circus Contraption, this wacky small circus with tons of great aerialists, balloon swallowers, dog acts and other random things that is put on in a chocolate factory in seattle's freemont neighborhood. i got all dressed up in my Louise Black corset and pink tutu for this show. it was Pretty Pretty Princess night. cory knows how much i love this stuff. he even took me to The Pink Door, an adorable restaurant in the pike place market with aerialists performing over the dining room as you eat, for my birthday. don't think "Circus Circus" as it's way more Twin Peaks. cory likes robots, vespas and karaoke. we declared tuesdays to be "suesdays" and we hang out together in ballard at this cheesy sports bar with a tarot card reader. he's fun.

the decongestants are kicking in so i'm going to attempt to sleep. i'm hoping i don't have to miss work tomorrow. wish me luck getting over this thing! daily outfit shotswill return tomorrow.
