not much to say about today

vintage polyester cape dress: sweetlittle.etsy.com

feathered flapper velvet head wrap: boringsidney.etsy.com

vintage apron: i've had it so long, i don't know where it came from anymore!

pink ruffled vintage slip: some thrift store on melrose in the mid 90s

bangles with stripes and dots: forever 21

big clunky shoes: hot topic years and years ago

peppy is a really creepy marionette clown at the restaurant. if you put a quarter in, you can push buttons and make him dance. there are seperate controls for each arm and leg. most kids are afraid of him. poor old peppy!

linus stole my apple. i didn't know he liked apples until today. i eat one every day and he'd never tried to steal them before.

i'm still kinda under the weather, although i'm much better. i trimmed my bangs with my clippers (it makes them really straight) and cory promised he'll trim the back for me on tuesday. i'm trying to save money so i'm hoping to make this cut last a few more weeks.

i'm so worn that even though it's friday night i'm just gonna snuggle with the kitties and watch old episodes of Pushing Daisies. solanah rekindled my ardor for the show. i actually cried during one episode! unrequited love always gets to me. as do amazing otherworldly places that i really really wish actually existed in the tragically dismally real world i'm stuck in. *le sigh*

The universe smiles on you, Susie and says yes to whatever you think. So if you are thinking "Feh on this tragic crappy world --" the universe says "Yes."

But if you think, "You know, this isn't such a bad place. Yeah, it's got its dents, dings and stains, but it's not so bad..." Well, it says "Yes" to that too. So, my metaphysical blue fairy self says, "Smile, and the universe will smile back at you."

I love you, girl. Each and every time you write something, I find something that I can adore.

i was really into quantum physics and dr imoto's "messages in water" for quite some time. i think i've lost my way a bit and need to get back to creating my world and the experiences i have. all things exist in all places at all times. our minds simply determine how we perceive that reality, selecting the one spot and time and existence that we "see." oh sage darlene, with wisdom and loving heart, you speak truth and i hear the message. you are so right, ladyfriend! i love you, too!

Aha! I see you've gleaned my message! Good on ya, girlie! Keep the SPIRIT.
