i made it through my shift at work but i am still dragging from this cold. my big excitement for the day was stopping at bartell's on the way home and buying the expensive kleenex with the lotion inside. i have to stay home tonight instead of going out with cory. that's not fun. the consolation is that the more i take care of my
gail threw my sandwich away without even asking if it belonged to anyone. i'm sick and grouchy so i'm especially mad at her for doing that.
i got a lot of compliments on my outfit today, particularly the blouse. it is so gorgeous! darlene makes the coolest stuff and i haunt her etsy store daily. one lady told me i looked like i should be on Sex and the City. i thanked her because i know she meant it as a compliment but it kinda made me sad. do i really look that homogenous or is that just mainstream society's way of saying i don't look homogenous? Joan of Arcadia or Twin Peaks are way better yardsticks for measuring style, in my opinion.

Kick ass on so many levels! One, that you rocked that blouse like none other. Like you were MADE for it! Two, that you made it through work relatively unscathed. And three, that people are seeing you as a bit of a fashion icon. You are all that and more!
I am so thrilled that we share the same vision!
Hugs and love, Miss Susie!
